Chislehurst House, BR7

Located within the Chislehurst Conservation Area, this complete refurbishment transformed a detached house into a light-filled contemporary home.

The project involved a full internal reconfiguration, including the removal of part of the first-floor structure to create a dramatic double-height space and a stronger sense of connection between levels.

Contemporary glazing, slimline sliding doors and refined new windows were introduced throughout, opening the house more fully to the rear garden and patio area, complete with a luxury electric pergola. Electrically operated external Venetian blinds help reduce solar glare and control heat gain, while ultra-modern timber cladding gives the exterior a distinctive new character. Bespoke built-in furniture, including a media wall, staircase and kitchen, was carefully designed as part of the interior scheme to complement the revised layout, materials and finishes.
